A meal at Birmingham City Mission.

Canvas cares about people. It’s what drives us, so we are hosting a week long tinned food drive starting today, 23 March. All food will be donated to Birmingham City Mission‘s Resource Centre which offers help and support to the needy and marginalized in Birmingham and it’s suburbs.

This week, bring your tinned goods to the Canvas house to take part in the efforts (3A Teignmouth Road, B29 7BA).

Building a home for a family in need in Juarez, Mexico.

Canvas are teaming up with Casas por Cristo to build a house for a family in need in Juarez, Mexico this summer. We’d love to take a whole group of people to make it an even better experience for all. If you’d like to be a part of a trip like this, one that radically changes the life of a family, come to Canvas tonight (Thursday) at 8pm for a quick informational meeting (here’s more information on the Facebook event page).
