A Weekend Away With Canvas

From the 5th to the 7th of March, we’re taking a break and getting out of town and you’re very welcome to come with us!

We’re headed to Wales, to a place called Cefn Lea, to have as much fun as we can in one weekend. What’s more, the whole weekend will cost a total of £35. That’s it.

Tuesday Night at Canvas

This is the main event. Come to Canvas every Tuesday night to get a free dinner (the food is delicious), some live music (the band is good) and a talk from one of the Canvas staff about their faith journey (it’s probably not what you’re expecting).

When it’s over, hang out at Canvas or join us at the pub. No arm twisting, just a great night of great fun. Tuesday Night at Canvas is every Tuesday from 8pm.

Open Mic Night

Some of the brightest musicians in Selly Oak gather at Canvas every fortnight for one of the best open mic nights around. Bring a few of your favourite cover songs or a few of your originals and play them to the crowd.

If you’re more the listening type, bring your mates and just come to enjoy some truly great music. It’s always a great night out.

We know how to have fun. A lot of it. But, we want to make sure you know that we’re here to go beyond than that as well. If you’re looking for a deeper spiritual journey, or just have some questions that you’d like to get around to asking, then we want you to know that we’re here for you.
